Free Workshops: How to apply for funding

Posted on 09.05.2017

Making Ways are hosting free workshops for Visual Artists based in Sheffield which offer opportunities to develop your ideas and improve your practical skills in areas such as marketing, budgeting and bid writing. These are aimed at supporting artists applying for funding through the Making Ways Open Call as well as other schemes, such as Grants for the Arts.

The workshops will help you understanding funding guidelines and priories; how to approach delivering a project plan and audience development, as well as marketing and promotion, evaluation and artistic development. Workshops will be led by Adrian Friedli who, in addition to the group workshops, will offer ‘one to one slots’ to enable you to talk in more detail about your projects and gain specific individual support.
