Kerstin Stutterheim and Niels Bolbrinker’s acclaimed documentary examines the artistic and political aims of the Bauhaus school, from its inception after the First World War to its dissolution and the emigration of some of its most significant Masters, teachers and students.

Join artist James Clarkson and ceramics tutor Amanda Packham for a short ceramics course at Art House Sheffield, inspired by the pottery workshops at the Bauhaus.

Artists Peter Martin and Jon Cannon will lead a risograph poster-making workshop to explore the effects of design on our lives. The workshop is hosted by Choriso Studio, a small press and risograph printing studio in Sheffield.
Radical Materials and this events programme are is part of the Construction House series at S1 Artspace and form part of Making Ways, a programme supported by Sheffield Culture Consortium through Arts Council England to showcase, celebrate and develop the exceptional contemporary visual art produced in the city.
