Confluence is a group exhibition of outstanding new paintings and sculpture by Sheffield-based contemporary artists – Richard Bartle, Anthony Bennett, Al Daw, Paul Evans, Seiko Kinoshita, Mandy Payne, Sarah Villeneau, Joanna Whittle, Myfanwy Williams and Sean Williams – and is taking place in Mayfair, London’s leading gallery district in October 2018. The exhibition acts as as a overview of the outstanding art being produced in Sheffield today.
Confluence artists are being supported through a tailored professional development programme, delivered by Matt Roberts Arts, in the lead up to the exhibition, and were selected as ‘mentees’ of the Making Ways Open Forum Programme, which supported over 50 artists through 121s and CPD support.
